Blending musical mastery with a deep understanding of group dynamics, they curate interactive, inclusive, and high-energy drum circles tailored to the essence of each event. Their sessions are more than music—they’re a space for connection, expression, and shared joy through rhythm.
Mathew Daniel
Mathew Daniel, known as Matt, is a self-taught percussionist and certified drum circle facilitator based in Bangalore.. With over 15 years of musical experience, Matt has collaborated with various groups, including Beat Gurus, Bangalore Broadway Company, Khanak Joshi (Sufi), Ministry of Grooves, and Mehdi Tebyanian (Tanbur), among others. He has also partnered with renowned artists like Roberto Narain and Vasundhara Das from Drum Jam, leading drum circles across the country. Matt has participated in a certified Drum Circle Facilitator workshop led by Arthur Hull, the pioneer of drum circles and founder of the esteemed Village Music Circles in California, USA. He is currently dedicated to his personal project, Notesic, while also facilitating drum circles throughout India.
Dinushan Shanmuganathan
Dinushan Shanmuganathan serves as the drummer and percussionist for one of India’s leading musical acts, Lucky Ali, and is also a highly regarded session musician, arranger, composer, and music educator based in Bangalore. A self-taught artist, he has delved into a variety of musical styles, currently focusing on rock, pop, metal, and jazz fusion. Dinushan has showcased his skills on drums, djembe, congas, tabla, Tavil, and numerous other percussion instruments, both in studio recordings and live performances for internationally recognized artists such as Lucky Ali, Eli Essar, Sanjith Hegde, Guru Kiran, Sinchan Dixit, Naveen Sajju, Inchara Rao, Ananya Bhat, Ginny and the Bottle, among others.
